new crate engine for a z06

plz can someone on the forum let me know the cost of rebuilding an existingt engine or a replacement are there any bigger engine that can be installed in the z06 while back there was someone that had replaced his .thanks

500 cubes is possible with a deck plate. Or 454 with the std 9.24" deck.
Actually I think 460 cubes is possible with an RHS block.
Lead times are long usually for aftermarket builds. TBH the quickest and best option is probably an aftermarket 427 and bolt the good bits of what you have left on. Or go with an lsx102 intake and maybe some ported ls7 or gmpp lsx heads, you will probably push more air that way anyway than the larger cube engines.
(ie) Spend more on getting the std 427 to breathe better. Heads, cam & intake

Yep your right just looked at Zubair's 'Profile' is it for the Viper? in which case I'd worry like you .....Go for a replacement Viper or Rebuild ....I just answered 'New Crate Engine for a Z06' LOL

Obviously that depends what's wrong in the first place.

Totally impossible to give any costs, until you know what you need to repair/replace in the first place !
