Anyone else had a problem ?
The seat belt operates as it should under braking, but then does not move freely. (holds like a harness)
I released the belt and let it reel in to about mid chest level but it would not pull back out. I had to pull over and stop, it required letting all the way back then it operated normally again.

It has happened three times now!
Dealers say they can't duplicate the fault, bring it back if it does it again and stay in the car with belt in the faulty condition.
It would appear they have not had this fault before, no TSB.

Driving to the dealer and staying in the car is not too difficult at my Dealer because it is automatic doors with service people just inside.

The C6 has an inbuild racing style belt for track days, If you pull the whole belt out and then let go it will hold you firmly in place.

I sometimes get this problem - but after seeing Rob's post I now know it's probably waistline related!

Seriously though, it does sometimes happen but only when I first put the belt on, you have to return the belt completely to reset. I managed to trigger it stretching for the peage at the weekend - but only the once.

VG,
Thanks, I shall have a little seatbelt practice this morning to make sure I am the one in charge of the thing so it does what I want when I want.

What a pity my service person didn't explain this.

Edit to change VH to VG, must type more carefullysmile
