You could put them up in the * CLASSIFIEDS * Parts & Accessories * CHEVROLET section. I for one would like to know what he has for sale.

Ebay, or maybe post up on the American car or Corvette owners club sites.

What sort of bits are for sale? I might be interested in a few specific bits.

He's got the car which is...
A 2008 model, 6.2 liter 436 bhp. Six speed auto trans with paddle shift, extra on it are the 3LT package (heads-up display, pwr steering wheel, heated seats, 2 position memory for seats and mirrors, side impact airbags, pwr driver and passenger seats, and steering wheel radio controls). Other extra options include the touch screen sat nav/cd/radio system with premium Bose speakers, chrome aluminum wheels, dual mode exhaust with remote control, and the Z51 performance package which adds larger cross drilled brake rotors, performance tuned stabilizer bars, springs, shocks, and performance axle ratio. It is silver and has the removable transparent roof panel. Tires are P245/40ZR18 in front and P285/35ZR19 rear, all run-flats.

Reg plate W111 USA

and a brand new roof bag which he wasnts £30 for.

Ships out in a month so all needs to go...

You forgot to say whoever buys the car will have to sort out the duty & tax as it's a US tax free car at the moment.

I think we worked out it would add around £6K to the asking price.

But it is a nice motor. thumbup

Are you sure thats the 6.2Ltr model? I thought they changed the style of the wheels when they went from the LS2 to LS3 engine. If it was built in 2008 then I guess it must be the LS3.

Well spotted. The old-style chromes lived on to mid-2008, but those aren't chromes... Odd.

regarding duty and tax it would be 10% duty, then 17.5% VAT
on top of that figure. So assuming HM Revenue & Customs use $1.50 to the £ that works out at approx £7800.00 on top, that makes just under £34500. Probably more due to the exchange rate.
