Corvette Hire

Hello all,

Okay I have my leavers ball in June, so what better car to turn up in than a Corvette. I'm looking to hire any type of 'Vette for the evening.

Obviously I wont be driving as I'm 18, the plan would be to get my brother to drive me there and back in it. He's 24 so could this be a problem? I know that a lot of hire places will only let you have a car if you are 25+.

So if anyone has any experience with hiring one or knows of a company does this that would be awesome.

The girls are going in a pink stretch Caddy, which is why I've jumped at a chance of finding a Vette. No worries, Edinburgh is just a tad far away

I think there is a place in Kent that rents "classic" Corvettes but you would need to google this and also check on the under 25 rule as I suspect most companies would only rent to over 25's.

It might be cheaper to "rent" one of our members to get him to drive you too and from and your brother can take the bus

Had a bit of a look at a couple of companies that hire 'Vettes, unfortunetly the 25+ rule applies to all of them.

Martin tells me you are Corvette mad and live in South Reading. I'm in Earley, so could take you to the Thames Valley CCCUK meeting if my shotgun is vacant (normally occupied by my 22 year old son).

Also, depending on the date - I may be able to drive you to your Prom. I have a C5 Corvette. It's not a Z06 - but beggars can't be choosers ;-)
