Well Ive been keeping my eye out for a while.
Ideally Id like a Z06 C6 and there have been a couple around. One just went for £36k last week. I missed it due to my holidays and work schedule.

Anyway at least 5 years ago I recall seeing a C5 for £17k
Well, they are still £17k and in fact often more. Two recently went very fast around the £15k mark.
A C5 02 Auto just went for £14.5k

So there is certainly a good market for the Corvette if priced right. Im just wondering how they will hold up under the weight of taxation rises, inflation and bond vigilantee attacks on gilts etc.
On the other side my requirement to purchase is becoming intense.
Im not sure what will bust first, prices, or me biggrin

If anyone has a C6 Z06 they are selling let me know.

Have you tried American Dreams Rich? He does seem to get a few in. That ex-top Gear car was a bit of a dog eared one though - I think it was at the Nationals not last year but the year before. Maybe wrong. Either way £36K is cheap for a Z even if it is the very first 2006 issue with hard ride notchy gearshift etc, - what a lot of car!

The ex-stratstones demo was very hard used car, All wheels were damaged with lots of digs in the paintwork, Rusty claipers The seats looked well used and I think in had a new gearbox under warranty? I would rather pay more and get a better car.
Not sure if Bauer Millett or Chris Graham may have some coming in??

It is remarkable how well C5 stands up as a real-world sportscar 13 years after its launch. Seems GM reallly did get it right first time with C7 now slated to be another evolution of the same basic package.

Hello ringram, So you've finally given in then!
What are you going to do with the HSV?
I saw 06 Z06s in Europe going for EUR 48k.
There is more demand than supply there relative to here.
Drop me a line if you aren't successful in finding yourself something...
