Morning all,

My garage is very narrow and I’m not sure if a C6 or C6 Z06 will fit. The door is 7’ wide but the garage itself is only 7’ 10” wide. The garage is around 17' long. Will it fit?

Do the mirrors fold?

All the best.

Martin.

You'll have to fold the mirrors in but I got my Z06 through a 7' door, a bit tight once in though!

I managed to reverse my Mk3 mondeo into the garage (without folding the mirrors) and still get out. Was a buit tight but do-able.

I see you are in the construction industry, maybe a larger garage as the next project ?

A C6 is a little over 14'6" feet long and 6'1" wide, so it should fit in without a problem

A carpet tile on the wall is recommended for opening the door

The door is not going to open far for an easy exit, ok once or twice, but everyday !

You could buy a soft top and climb out.

It's an integral garage I'm afraid. No room to extend or build another one. I might end up buying an older vette as a daily driver and just leave it parked on the drive. That way I could also keep my Caterham.

It fits in OK with the mirrors folded, though I have to get very close on the passenger side in order to actually be able to get out - there's not a lot of space unless you are thin (which I'm not).

I've got a window valet which lets you open the windows from the fob - makes getting out in the garage much easier.
