Stratstone Corvette Park Lane R.I.P
Discussion
Back in late 2004 Stratstone part of Pendragon group were given sole rights to sell Cadillac and Corvette in the UK, The Flagship showroom opened in Park Lane London.
I had purchased a few cars from this site, And always found the Staff like Lee and James at the time to have a good deal of knowledge and passion for the products they were selling. Once these guys moved on in the trade the lack of knowledge went down hill overnight!
It always seemed strange to have your flagship showroom in such a prime location as Park Lane left to be run by staff that was totally clueless in so many areas in the last couple of years.
Anyone with no Interest in the car trade and any knowledge of Cadillac and Corvette would be an idea salesperson for this showroom.
It is a real shame to see this Park Lane showroom close, as it was always great to see Corvettes for sale in London on such a prime location, but for last couple of years this showroom has been on life support!!
I think with Stratstones fire sale last year they did what they wanted to do and sell off their stock but ended up having a showroom empty for almost a year. Going past a Dealer in Park Lane and seeing Posters on the windows with SALE and save ££££ seemed more like DFS than a Corvette and Cadillac showroom. What people must have thought when walking past?
I am sure when GM looked into this with Kroymans the Importers for Europe, It must have looked great to them? Once again we have gone full circle and as always we look to the North of the Country to pick up the pieces that are left...

Your lack of care for these brands will be felt for many years to come.
