Hi, I'm aiming to try get a performance car within the next year.

My budget will be between £20-25k, i currently drive around 5k miles pa but will be looking to go on few euro trips.

I really have my heart set on a TVR T350c but i have to say i am worried about reliability / service costs.

I've never really thought about a Yank car before but after seeing many reviews on the Z06 i re-considered.

The Z06 is out of my budget but maybe the c6 isn't.

It seems that these cars are somewhat bomb proof which is reasuring. However what are servicing / parts costs like?

How much would i need to budget for tires / pads / disks / clutch etc...

Is it a pain in the a**e driving LHD?

Thanks guys

Servicing - rare and doesn't cost much at all, especially if you're capable of doing your own routine oil changes.

Parts - the best thing is you aren't likely to need any! Costs are higher than running a basic Ford/Vauxhall but nothing to flap about.

Depends how you drive; this much grunt can eat the wear items if you use it all the time. They'll last a very long time if you're even half sensible.

In round numbers a set of tires is £1,000 and can last 25,000 miles.

No.
