C2 Race Car in Reading

Okay there's a tiny car dealership in Reading and driving past today I saw a C2 race car. It was either black or very dark green with a yellow stripe along with the number 25 if that makes a difference.

So is this likely to be a rep or a very very rare origional?

You would have to delve a little deeper to find that one out!.....C2's destined for racing world would roll out of the factory with specifically designed options, like the first incarnation of RPO ZO6.
And don't forget, at the time, GM was still adhering to the AMA racing ban, or they thought they were?....As this would all come to a head with the emergence of the 'Cobra Killer', the Grand sport, but that, as they say, is another story!

It's Donnington cars in Reading, about 5 minutes from the hospital, I will be going back into town hopefully today tomorrow at the latest. So I'll get some pictures of it.

I spoke to the owner today,It's a black '65 with a 327 that they have raced for a season and a half.
The owner is a pleasant chap and he told me it's not for sale.

Oh okay, haven't managed to actually go in yet. Just assumed that as it was in a dealership it was for sale. Interesting background.
