2011 Model Year Vette anything new?

Anyone heard of any big upgrades on the 2011 MY Vette?

Is the Z06 still going to be made this year? Everyone keeps talking about the Grand Sport but it still has the standard BHP,

Not even sure if Europe will be getting any? I would think that must stock in Europe has now been sold.
UK seemed to have sold out middle of 09.

Haven't seen anything except for speculation and wish-lists...as ever I guess it'll be the Spring before anything concrete comes out.

Speculation seems to cover pretty much every possibility. Engine-wise ranges from direct injection for more power through to 5.5 litres and maybe direct injection to maintain power... Z06 dies, Z06 final model year, Z06 lives... C6 continues with same line-up, GS the only model, GS body with full range of options... You get the picture!

If I had to put money on it I'd reckon almost all investment will be diverted to a smaller/lighter C7 with nothing significant for the C6 expect for paint and stripes. Similar to the last years of the C5 - I can't think of anything significant after '01 except for the magneto-wotsit dampers.

Or...how about a narrow-body, automatic, Z51, LS9-engined convertible for £55K?

Yep, be interesting to see what the entry level engine in the C7 is.
Maybe a direct injection or VVT 5.x Litre blob. They are doing a sexy 4.8L Duramax diesel from memory.
But I doubt that will go anywhere near the C7.... or will it?

According to one of the dealers on the US forum (who always seems to have inside info based on his past predictions), there will be new colo(u)rs and "enhancements" to the Z06. He won't give any more detail before the GM announcements in April.

More power and maybe brakes/suspension from the ZR1? Decent seats?
