Late Corvettes of any type? C5's were always for sale and lots of C6's i think Europe have got most of our cars!
You still see C5's for sale on Pistonheads but how much!! time warp prices I think some owners think their cars are still new!
Try Chris Graham cars he use to have a few C5's and Dart Corvette in Kent.

He must be doing well. It's the first car dealer I've ever come across with no cars to sell. You still see C5's for sale on Pistonheads but how much!! time warp prices I think some owners think their cars are still new!

Funny time of year for a private sale. Many cars are tucked away for the winter.
I just visited an independent dealer to look at a couple of C2s
He had two C1s (One not for sale)
Two C2s
Numerous early C3s, no late ones.
One C4
No C5s
Numerous C6s
As I had already seen this thread I asked him about the lack of C5s in his showroom. Seller pricing often not realistic.

I have been offered plenty(C5's and C6's),but all at more money than I would sell them for !
We 'orrible dealer types are much maligned, but to use boyzee's point, you get loads of no shows, overpriced trade-ins offered, people who want to get out of something really unpopular and in value freefall, and into your reasonably priced, slow depreciation Corvette, and they expect you to take the hit on their "thing"
Dealers do provide a service in that respect, they help you out of something you don't want anymore so you can buy something you do,there has to be some kind of incentive for this and it's called a profit.

After carefull consideration I put my C5 back on pistonheads for sale yesterday. After 12 minutes of the add being live I got a call from a dealer who is a 4 hour drive away from me.We agreed a price which was several thousand pounds more than any other dealer had offered. He arrived at the time he said paid me in cash and took the car.Im sorry now its gone but being out of work it had to go.

I'm on the lookout for a decent C5 but they all seem overpriced. Might import one from Japan as they seem to be better value.
What do you call over priced???. Ive seen a few Jap ones and they seem pretty poor.I reckon i could get a good sum for my one if i were selling....

The owner also has a yellow Z06, and is a porsche enthusiast - great minds think alike and all that...http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1417725.htm
