Surrey New Years Day Cruises
Discussion
Calling all Surrey & Area Rep CCCUK Members!
Last Minute Bookings.Com invite you to TWO cruises on New Year’s Day.
1. Dave Evans (Past Master-Rep Extraordinaire) reminded us at the last Surrey Meeting that Tom at Claremont has his usual “Annual Winter Open Day” on Friday 1st January from 10am until 3pm. Open to all for tea/coffee and light refreshment. Come in your Corvette!
Suggest meet up at Clackett Lane services on the M25 for around 10:00 leaving at 10:30am to cruise to “Big Tom” afterwards.
2. In addition to Claremont’s shindig, good old Brooklands has a do on New Year’s Day too. Read on;
Big meeting for classics at Brooklands on New Year’s Day. "All classic, vintage and veteran cars welcome for possibly the largest New Year's Day gathering in the South East! Entry via the Campbell Gate off Brooklands Road for pre-1973 vehicles, whose occupants will receive a discount of £1 off our usual admission prices. Parking in and around the Paddock and on the Finishing Straight for these vehicles.
For those just turning up to look at this wonderful display, as well as the rest of the Museum and its exhibits, there will be parking in The Heights off Wellington Way.
The bar and restaurants will be open for our traditional turkey-free New Year’s Day lunches and snacks".
Both sound good news to us so dust off your Vetter’s and meet us at either venue, better still start at Claremont and follow us back to Brooklands afterwards.....
Seasons Greetings & a very Happy 2010!
