Hiya all
We are on another world tour, on route to New Zealand and Australia (Queensland). Currently in San Diego, CA.
We will be in New Zealand (all over)17th Dec to Jan 6th
then Sydney and Cairns 7th jan to 18th jan - mainly in Cairns area, sightseeing and diving
Any Corvette meetings we can go to or meet up for beer n corvette chat??
Let me know if you can

I'm in Havelock North and there are one or two Corvettes around here but not enough to warrant a meeting as far as I know Perhaps someone from Wellington, Christchurch or Auckland will be along soon with club meet info.
O/T: I'd love to get another one but the prices!! There are two 2000/1 C5 convertibles in Taupo for $67,000 and $85,000. At the current exchange rate you could buy a late model C6 in the rest of the world.
Yes, I could import one but unless I've owned it 90 days overseas and bring it in as a personal import, it'll need RHD converting. Then there is importing special interest vehicles but that has a quota limit and needs approval so it may or may not get in!

Will you be in a motorhome/camping or motel/hotels?
Have a look at http://www.hostaccommodation.co.nz/ and if you get 11 stamps in your book, the 12th night is free up to $100. I just happen to be at http://www.hostaccommodation.co.nz/listings/18a6b1... Contact details there
