I've just ordered a full set of uprated discs & pads for my C5, and I'm going to fit stainless steel brake lines at the same time. Does anyone know if the zinc plated brake hose connectors that come with the Goodridge kits are ok or do I need to select the slightly more costly stainless steel connectors? Will they make a difference? Ta, Rowan.

I recently bought a brake line flairing tool and stainless brake pipe so I can make up my own! I went with the brass looking fitments.......but can't remember what metal they are.

Are you planning on upgrading the flexible hoses to braided? They made a gerat difference to the pedal feel when I did this for my C5.

Yes I'm upgrading the flexi hoses to braided, the full set up will be grooved and dimpled (not drilled) discs, EBC Red Stuff pads, braided hoses and DOT 4 fluid with standard calipers (I'll give them a service and grease). The standard brakes have been feeling very spongey since my 'Ring visit in September!

I guess the brass looking fitments must be the zinc plated steel jobbies so I should be ok with those
