Currently 6 points, would've been 9 if I hadn't done a 'speed awareness' course. Since then of course I have learnt the error of my ways and will of course never be caught again. It does help having a car that struggles to get to 45 mph...

I know this is tempting fate.... None! Last points I got were in 2000 in a Z28, only had 9 points in total in 27 years of driving.

None here too, although having no NSL helps.....only ever had 3 points and that was in a mini for daring to overtake an off duty copper (admittedly crossing double white lines!)

3 points currently, but I did manage to get nicked at exactly the same spot, at exactly the same time on exactly the same day for two years running - d'oh banghead

We used to go to watch a mate compete in an annual Autotest in Poole on New Years Day. I got nicked on the way one year and, as a result of his success, the copper probably thought he'd wait again the next year. Hey presto, the idiot in the BMW (i.e. me) goes speeding by again with the inevitable result - pillock ....................

Why is it that when you are down to your last three points and they are going to come off in just a few weeks - when - you go and pick-up three new points smash

None touch wood. Not bad as I cover over 50k miles a yearsmile

total had over time is 9 with the most valid on my licesnse at one time being 6 (just) That was back in 91. I already had an sp30 on my licesnse and got an MW10 for undertaking on the hard shoulder on the M25 on the way back from flying at Biggin. That was on thurs 4th July 91. Then on the Sat I got caught at double the limit in Margate. The copper made some errors, he issued another fixed penalty despite the fact my license was already in the hands of surrey police. The date and time was also inaccurate. After 3 cancelled court dates my solicitor won when Kent police/cps dropped the case. All the above were on motorcycle. In 2003 I had a nick in the car. 63 in a 50 that was and still should be a 70.

No. times pulled must be into 3 figures by now. Nearly all on the bike

That sounds like me.......driving up the M5 on the way to a Corvette event earlier this year, Sunday morning I'm doing 93 (as it turns out) and I can see this marked cop car about a mile back, but stupidly figured he wouldn't nick me.......I was wrong.....DOH!

(Just as well it hadn't been on the slip road as I was well past 3 figures when joining the motorway) paperbag

Currently clean...

But, over the years I've been nicked 6 times for speeding (all SP30, so it shows that I learn from my mistakes)....

The first 4 of these were in my first 4 years of driving resulting in the nice man in the courtroom "suggesting" that I use public transportation for a short while.....whistle

Fortunately the last time I transgressed, I was offered a Speed Awareness Course so I've only ever been "done" 5 times.

All of the above were before I joined the ranks of Vette ownership, so I will just have to see what happens next!

I'd so love to believe that you didn't deserve, probably, every one of those pulls!

None at all, touch wood.. Like ever. Although I did once get a £10 fine and an endorsement for parking on a zebra crossing.

No patrol cars around these parts, but we do have a 27mile specs trap, but they are easily defeated. These days I use Road Angel mobile on my phone which bluetooths out to a wee gps unit. Works really well and costs me about £1.50 per month reverse billed but only if I use it.
