HI

I am a real pistonhead but I just joined to the forum. I owe a few corvettes, but was wondering if there are any C2 owners out here!

Yep RED is my favorite color for a C2 or C5 vette.

For more pics visit my website C2registry:

The 65 is undergoing a full body off resto at the moment!

Okay, there are several members of the Surrey region that have C2's, 2 of them red like yours and at least another two I can think of in blue. Beautiful looking cars either coupe of roadster.

You need to buy the November edition of "American Car World", it features two tidy looking C2s running Z06 running gear and engines. Very tasty looking cars.

Hi I'm the membership secretary for the CCCUK & we currently have 43 C2's registered within the club.
Some of which are probably off the road for restoration.

Checkout www.corvetteclub.org.uk sometime.

The mid years have always been my favourite Corvette,I have resigned myself to the fact I will never own one because when they were £15k I couldn't afford one. When they were £22k I couldn't afford one and now they are £30k plus I could afford one but don't think they are value for money anymore.
It's a real shame because I have driven mid years and I love 'em

Depends what sort of pictures you're talking about - we do have some standards here you know.

As regards posting pictures, I load them onto my PC, then download them to a photo website (e.g photobucket.com). From there you get a URL which you copy and paste into your message on this website using the following format where you enter the URL from Photobucket between the [pic]s in the following format:
[pic]photobucket url[/pic]
Your picture then appears as if by magic.

Hope that helps!! - at least you now have something to do on Christmas Day (and probably the next day....).

Or you could do what Stingray65 suggests.

Merry Christmas.

Rich

My favourite vette too...

Was expecting to see some at the Goodwood Speed Festival this year, but sadly no vettes of any kind, althought there was a sorry looking barn find C2 coop on a stand close to the supercar launching.

Right enough about the prices, they always escalated beyond my means to the point now where I could only acquire one now but in doing so and my preference to use my vette daily, means I would be more concerned about protecting my investment. Wish now I had just bitten the bullet and bought one ages ago and looked after it. irked
