Seems to be a lack of any age of Corvette about for sale as the moment, Are Vette owners happy and just not selling them? I think their is lack of any late American cars at the moment. This may be because they are being sold back to Europe?

I sold my C5 recently. It was advertised both on Pistonheads and on Autotrader. The majority of interest came from Europe and in the end I sold it to a chap in Sweden. Had a few people interested from the UK, but they either failed to turn up for a viewing, or were just tyrekickers.

My first intention was to replace the C5 with a C6, but I quickly realised there were precious few for sale in the UK and I couldn't find one in exactly the right colour/spec/price. Bought a Merc SL instead. Sorry, chaps!

If someone wants to offer me a 'silly' price (High now Low!!!) for my C3 it can go - mind you, anything else I own can go for the 'right' money too!

Well i'm advertising this one for a family friend. Need to get myself down to Glasgow for a look over it as i've not seen a C6 in the flesh properly.

Had a few tyre kickers and one serious piece of interest but no sale as yet. Guess it's not quite the car you would normally go buying in the winter! lol!

As a 4 speed auto, presumably with out nav (you've not mentioned it) and as a US import (limiting your market), even with the low mileage I think it needs to be £24,995 before he gets some geniune interest in it, especially when the car below is Euro spec, 2 years newer, paddleshift and has nav and remaining manufacturers warranty -

The problem with C6's is that we all tend think of them as being 'new' cars - when in reality the cars can be 4 to 5 years old - no way (irrespective of mileage) can £30K 'ish be a realistic value for something which would have 'only' been £40/46K equivalent new.
