I was in a 57 plate F150 HD truck going from the Heartsease roundbout.

This car belongs to a new member whose name escapes me just now.

He brought it along to the Norfolk Gala Day in August.

Not many of that colour about.

So I was driving along the M25 yesterday and in the distance I could see a very shiny red C6 just about to exit the M1 north slip road.

After giving the Merc van a bit of welly (well as much as it could give me fully laden with kit from a show I had been attending for 3 days) I got closer and thought, wow, look at those nice clean Borla's sticking out of the back with the filler plate in chrome, just like my old one.

I pulled up alongside and thought hey! He's even got my wire mesh grills in the front fenders. Bloke driving looks vaguely familiar too....

Got in front (this chap was in cruise mode not "attack nutter van drivers" obviously) and I thought, blimey! He's even got the same slat lower front grill and small reg plate like I had on my previous C6. This guy has REAL TASTE, he has it all blinged up just like my old car. What a guy.

The penny then dropped.

A. He looked familiar because only six months previous he bought the car off a bloke in Chertsey.

And B.

It was me.
