Althought the Tyres on my car are pretty good I decided to get the new ones in 'Ready'....The plan to have 4 Tyres and the Brake Pads ready for next 'season' Probably get the Pads from Bauer Millets in Manchester........ for the Tyres.......Tyre Traders are looking for £414 a shot for the 'rears' 325 30 19......Tried 'TireRack' in the States and they supplied me with the Goodyear OEM Runlats for $933 the pair 'Shipped'..........They are a Mighty Big Tyre these when they turn up Excellent....and now for the Fronts 275 35 18....Looking at TyreTraders might be OK for these being £236 a 'Pop' That would save Importing those. The Moral is TireRack..... Rears and TyreTraders UK ....Fronts!
Unless someone Knows a better deal......Cheers

North Hants Tyres got me my last set and I have another set on order from them at the moment. Factory spec Goodyear Eagle F1 EMTs front and back. Phone John or James for a quote.

The tyres aren't on their website but they can get them from the USA on special order.

It's always worth checking with BM and Wavendon on stock and price before ordering elsewhere, as they will be the only people who buy the tyres in reasonable quantities (and who tend to have some on the shelf).
We also used to deal with a wheel specialist in Reading who was pretty good at getting hold of the tyres at fair prices. If I remember the name I'll let you know.

Sorry, I forgot about this thread.
Pretty sure that it was Elite Wheels, not far from the Mercedes dealership.

You should seriously consider going for something other than the Goodyears - I fitted Toyo Proxes for a fraction of the price and find the grip superior - especially in cold weather and in the wet, and they appear to wear better too. Michelins are supposed to be terrific too but won't save you any money.

Having recently picked up a puncture in stop-start, rush-hour traffic on the way into London, the Goodyear EMTs allowed me to keep trundling along to my destination. I'm definitely going to try to get something other than the Supercars when I replace mine soon (prob GSD3s if I can get my hands on them) but plan to stay with EMTs.

As with everything, it's a personal choice and there are no right or wrong answers...but it's worth considering whether a bit of extra grip is worth the inconvenience if you do get a puncture. Of course, I've only had one puncture in 27 years and may never have another...

True but the C5 Z06 never had run flats (assume that's what an EMT is?) and just has an inflater and tyre-weld can - should be just as good!!

I do indeed Gary........I was looking at TyreTraders they have the Goodyear 275 35 18 Tyre in the same visual Tread Pattern as the OEM[But Non Runflats] at £172 a piece...... or there abouts...... so I could go Cheaply and as Mathew said a can of Tyre Weld and an Inflator in the Boot and away you Go!
