Congratulation to Luc Alphand Aventures who won the GT1 manufacturers title for Corvette and two of their drivers shared the drivers title too.

Luc Alphand Aventures had two cars (only one transporter!!) so they lost one of the race cars plus all their pit equipment and spare parts. The 003 chassis - the one in the fire - is the one they used for the French GT championship and also FIA GT. The 004 was exclusively used the Le Mans Series but was pressed into service last weekend for the French GT championship with the demise of the 003 car.
The 004 will also be used for all the races for the rest of the season meaning the FIA GT in Portugal next week, then the combined French GT / FIA GT meeting at Paul Ricard, followed by Ledenon in the French GT and FIA GT at Zolder.....all of these meetings between now and the end of October!
Speaking to Luc yesterday he was saying the rig and car were both insured as was the rig contents but because of the insurance involvement the rig is still in a compound in the south of France and probably won't be released back to the team until possibly the end of the month, at which point they will get some of their unburnt equipment back.
In the meantime they have a basic / empty trailer and the rig which was undamaged in the fire, plus some borrowed equipment.
The garage was extremely bare at Silverstone yesterday, i.e. no tools and very little equipment in the trailer.....still managed 3rd in class and the championship though smile
However any damaged body parts will result in the car having to be withdrawn from a race as they have no spare parts so the drivers were under strict instructions to avoid contact with everyone!
