This is the Third and final Plate for the front and finally I'm Happy with it! The Original plate that came off the C6 hungover this holder by 1.5" A Side.....The second was 'tiny' at 12 X 3 and with that one I was just waiting to get pulled.....This one I'm Delighted with .....The Plate Holder is an Amerian Square Plate Holder 'Colour Coded' 13.25 X 13.25" out with the Hack saw and a trim later she is 13.25 X 3.5 looks 'part' of the car and properly 'finished'

The Logo I downloaded an emailed them

OLD PLATE

This Plate show here had been on my C5 Z06 and my C6 and just looked like it was not part of the car with this Holder.....The cars is 'drilled' to accept it so I'm stuck eith it really......Looks Finished now Tho Eh!!

CreatmyPlates.com do a range of 'Special size' Plates......[I had sent him the 'Flags' as an attachment earlier]
When I opened them the Numbers were'nt fitted they where on Backing paper and applied to the finished Blank Plate................Was'nt happy when I first saw them..... as I was thinking I have only seen this on Trailers and the like .....But the Plate was fully finished with the Border and what have you 'laminated' in as usual.........then the numbers were on a clear 'sticky' sheet that is cut to fit the plate and is applied carefully with a Credit Card ....Actually it looks prety good ....giving a 3D Type effect to the plate.

Spot on Ken. I have a US style plate holder in red and may just get it out of the loft and cut through the middle like you have done. Did you screw the holder on or use double sided sticky pads?

Martin mine was already ''Screwed' on...........I would definatley go this route it looks 'finished' you could try Gluing say firm rubber blocks inside and then use a Body Trim 'Double Sided Tape' [or just screw it on] It looks well I have no fear of being 'pulled' as it were as I could argue as an Import "it fit's the Number Plate mounting provided by the Manufacturer." Hmmmmm!
On the C6 I mounted the slightly larger plate shown in photo 3 below and in the 'mouth' on 'L' shaped brackets.....This Solution is the way to go!

May have a bit of a 'cooling' issue on the Z06 with this set up eh!
Give it a go with sticky stuff first and if you don't like it ......Back to the way it is [13.25" X 3.5" is the plate size] .....the Guy at Creatmyplates was 'Matt' Cheers Ken

Okay - well I reckon great minds think alike, not just in choice of cars but colour too!

Here's an image of my previous C6, looks pretty similar!

SPOOKY.......Martin [I had a Porker Too!] If you get it fitted post a Pic.....could not live with NO PLATE at all VetGuru.....was bad enough with the 12" X 3" [Tiny thing] Wether I was just paranoid I felt every Police car was having a 'good look' ......With this set up I have not felt in anyway Conspicuous!

I understand the laser speed detectors like a large flat white object to reflect a beam off. You only need a front plate for going to car shows epically Goodwood weekends
