Hi All,
Just to let you know…..
Heathrow Classic Car Show - This Sunday 5th July
The show has been running for nearly ten years and was founded by the now defunct British Airways Classic Vehicle Association (BACVA). After the last BACVA show in 2006, which attracted around 450 vehicles, the show was inherited by BA Clubs, the sports and leisure organization of British Airways.
Exhibitors are invited to enter their vehicles in one of the designated show categories. Over the years we’ve arrived at this selection as it reflects the diversity of entrants, and gives exhibitors the chance to display their vehicle alongside similar ones.
For 2009, the display categories are:
American & Custom
Classic
Commercial and Military
Vintage
Motorcycles
Every vehicle entered will receive a commemorative plaque and winners will be selected for each category, and an overall Best in Show will be chosen by the judging panel. Entrance is only £3 per vehicle with one passenger.
There’s also an Auto-jumble, a craft fair, a mini funfair, raffle, entertainment and a fully licensed bar serving a full range of tasty snacks, meals and refreshments.
