Corvette Headlights.
Discussion
Hi All,
Hope somebody can help me out here, Myself and a mate imported a 1989 C4 Corvette back to the UK from Saudi, at some time in the near future it's going in for an MoT, who/where/what can supply me with UK approved headlights as the current headlights are for use in Saudi.
Thanks in advance

Check you need them first. US lights are flat beam, not handed, so adjustment down is all that is generally required (plus they're weedy)for LHD or RHD countries. Mine had the originals and most cars from the US pass the IVA with stock lights. Save your money for the repair kit (nylon or bronze) when the cogs in the headlights strip - you'll know because they keep whirring after they go down until you disconnect them.
The originals are however sealed beam units and rubbish so you may want to upgrade them to new units and halogen bulbs, depending on how often you use it after dark.

C4 headlisghts are actually a fairly standard rectangular headlamp, so don't pay above the odds for getting hold of a UK aimed headlight.
Having said that, the flat beam thing also seems to work, I know from years back my mum's old Camaro had the adjusters racked right over and that worked fine too.
I'd suggest perhaps someone like Europa car parts if they're still going, but I bet the most cost effective solution is to find a local parts supplier who has a pair gathering dust in their store room.
