Has anyone taken their c6 Z06 on the shuttle, just wondering if you managed to get it on without scraping the wheels, there does not appear to be much room to spare?

it does fit but very tight but it will not damage your wheels!

easy - just follow the high sided vehicles - the booth people will tell you which way to go - makes like a lot easier - or when you book it - say yr vehicle is highsided - normally means yr first off as well

I took mine over to LeMans on le Shuttle last week and it was very tight but the rails are just a tad lower than the rims (you will be pleased to know!

Woof woof is correct though, if you go on the high sided vehicle train (i.e. the one for coaches/vans etc) the rails are far wider and you have zero worries with your extra-wide-pain-down-country-lane width of car.

Thanks guys, looks like the high sided vehicle option is the best bet.

I've taken mine on it, gone down the normal cars' channel and found there was bags of room!

I always ask to go in the high roof one, when asked I always say it's because of the width problem & they let me through no problems.

Not worth the risk of wheel damage.

Never mind the wheels - watch out for your door mirrors when driving past the toilets and stairways....
