I’m back again with yet more questions!
1. Is there much difference between the LS2 and LS3 engines and is it noticeable on the road?
2. What does SAE stand for in relation to engine power and torque?
3. Can you see the HUD during daylight hours? Can the position of the HUD be adjusted to suit your height and driving position?
4. Have good is the heater and A/C?
5. Is the Z51 handling pack essential?
6. Is the standard exhaust too quiet and is it worth investing in a set or Borla Stingers and how much as these?

1. Is there much difference between the LS2 and LS3 engines and is it noticeable on the road?
Plenty of power from both engines, more than enough for me, the LS3 has a few more horses, I doubt you will feel a huge difference.
2. What does SAE stand for in relation to engine power and torque?
Society of Automotive Engineers.
Horsepower (hp or HP or Hp) is the name of several non-SI units of power. It was originally defined to allow the output of steam engines to be measured and compared with the power output of draft horses. The horsepower was widely adopted to measure the output of piston engines, turbines, electric motors and other machinery. Different regions adopted different definitions of the unit. Most countries now use the SI unit watt for measurement of power.
The definition of a horsepower unit is different in different applications; application outside of the context of a particular definition will be inaccurate.
* One mechanical horsepower of 550 foot-pounds per second is equivalent to 745.7 watts
* A metric horsepower of 75 kgf-m per second is equivalent to 735.499 watts
* A boiler horsepower is used for rating steam boilers and is equivalent to 34.5 pounds of water evaporated per hour at 212 degrees Fahrenheit, or 9809.5 watts
* One horsepower for rating electric motors is equal to 746 watts
* A Pferdestärke is a name for a group of similar power measurements used in Germany around the end of the 19th century, all of about one metric horsepower in size. [1] [2]
An ALAM or SAE horsepower is not a unit of power but instead is a measure of internal combustion engine displacement, and an RAC horsepower or tax horsepower is a differently defined unit of displacement.
Where units of horsepower are used for marketing consumer products, often measurement methods are designed by advertisers to maximize the size of the number produced for any product, even if this may not reflect realistic capacity of the product to do work when used in normal conditions.
3. Can you see the HUD during daylight hours? Can the position of the HUD be adjusted to suit your height and driving position?
The HUD can be seen during daylight hours, on extremely sunny days it is harder to see, but I can still see it. The HUD adjusts up and down, and you can adjust the brightness
4. Have good is the heater and A/C?
The heater and A/C are more than enough to handle Death Valley heat and Semi artic winters, so YES.
5. Is the Z51 handling pack essential?
If you wanna use the cars full potential, I think it is, so YES. If you just wanna cruise, NO.
6. Is the standard exhaust too quiet and is it worth investing in a set or Borla Stingers and how much as these?
The standard exhaust makes the car sound almost clinically silent, a pair of headers and some Borla stingers will make a major difference. Prices vary, have a good look around.

I'd recommend getting a ride in a car with the same setup before committing, especially to the headers. I've got Borla Stingers fitted, and they're pretty loud; from what I've read, adding headers makes the exhaust way too loud for many people, but of course not for everyone!The standard exhaust makes the car sound almost clinically silent, a pair of headers and some Borla stingers will make a major difference.
