After the package taking a trip around the world (including getting stuck in Japanese customs for two weeks (don't ask me why)), my RaceMesh™ Grille set finally arrived. These are the Electro-polished stainless steel variety and I also had them paint the fender inserts in the same body colour.

The "complete set" includes bonnet scoop, two front wings vents, two rear wing vents & finally both lower fromt splitter sections. Ian Goss fitted the lot for me and this is the result.

But first a picture of "The Beast" (Not a Yu-Based black beast) but this:

Yes, I did buy a new Power Washer, but where the hell do the indicators fit and I can't for the life of me see where the seat clips on...?

And now, the Grilles:

And finally image of the rear with the new Borla Stinger 11's and X-pipe fitted.

The complete set was ordered from Michael at RaceMesh™ and he has told me that he will offer a further 5% off all orders of complete Grille sets ordered by CCCUK members within 30 days of the Nationals '09. Sounds good to me! They are available for the C5, C6, Z06 & ZR1. (Won't be making too many of the latter for the UK then)

See: http://www.racemeshgrilles.com/orders.htm

His direct email address is: racemesh@sbcglobal.net

Hope you like them.

Fantastic news Ken and thank you for your kind comments. To be honest it should be bloody well clean - it's only 3 months old! My previous Red C6 was over 3 years old and that was just as immaculate, aided by my quest to get the stupidest oversized pressure washer for my home use. Still my Polish friends will enjoy making use of it. Not...

We meeting you at the Nationals then? I was thinking of towing teh washer on the back of the Z and offering cheap washes on the day...

Hi Mark

Yes I noticed those when we first met. Did I see your car at LeMans last week?

Hi Martin

Grilles look ace biglaugh, shame you didn't have them for Le Mans - but well worth the wait, at least you have them fitted for the Nationals woohoo.

Thanks Hamish, I'm pleased they are fitted too, more the point they actually turned up after their detour!

Look foward to seeing you and your son on Tuesday.

I put pixel-snapper in the boot of a C6 convertible for 15 miles....Perhaps it wasn't the best time to see how high I could get the G meter on the HUD!

Did you need a spade and a bucket full of soapy water afterwards?
