As title, really - seen the pics over on digitalcorvettes and corvetteforum and I'm in love (not so much with the price, but it's kinda irrelavant at the moment).

Oh, I realise the usual suspects will import them; but wondering if we'll get a Euro-model (and whether that matters, at the end of the day).

Cheers,

Dan

At the moment all anyone can give you is a guess. GM's restructuring, GM Europe is a mess, Kroymans (the European importer) is bankrupt... The dealer network was late with '08 models, and as far as I know there were no official UK '09 models, so hard to say if/when there'll be any '10 models through the official channel.

You could try phoning Stratstones or Bauer Millet to see if they know anything.

Fair enough - thanks for the quick responses. I'm not unfamiliar with importing US cars so it's not a big problem - just curious.

Now to price one up smile

I'd be interested in coming to see you guys - especially when you get the Camaros over from the US (any dates on that?).

I have Camaros 2 at the UK docks now, a Yellow 2SS, (now sold) and a Silver LT, cars will be here in London early next week, a Black 2SS is following, (just sold), with the Chapter 11 situation the cars are becoming scarcer by the day and prices rising by the day, please call us to make an appointment, we'd love to help a fellow Piston/Petrol head!
But Camaro production isn't slowing - and they're now well in to the 20k mark in terms of numbers. Sure, I can see prices rising - but availability will surely get better as time goes on (and GM is relaunching in a couple of months).

However, both the Corvette and the Camaro interest me and I'm willing to entertain a purchase on either but I need to see the Camaro as my Monaro is already a big car and the Camaro looks no smaller. Not sure I need something so huge in my life (the Vette is more manageable, but more expensive, I realise).

I'll call you when I get a minute!

Cheers,

Dan

Hello irish boy, time you came to see us again, have you seen the new 2009 Ram ? , it is a major improvement over the previous model, fantastic quality and spec on the interior.
What do you think about setting up a Comedy Page for 5 USA to contribute to?

Interesting. I've been following Camaro5.com and not heard that - one week, yes, but nine?! That was the Corvette and general factories - whilst the Ottowa factory was carrying on ahead... are you sure?

Either way - still wanna come and see you smile

I've just seen this story - I've been running around a bit and not paying attention.

I had a look at the pictures, and the yellow vert means that I now have to go and change my underwear. Automotive porn.

Shame I can't afford one any time soon, but I can dream on.
