Whitequay are authorised by GM to service and repair C5 and C6.

They have recently announced two open days for Corvette owners, regardless of generation owned.

The first is on May 9th at their Reading Branch. They will have a ZR1 on display and also a GM owned Black Victory Edition C6 which will be up for sale.

Details are here:

The second open day will be held at their Southampton branch on July 4th. This will be a major celebration of American Independence day in association with an adjacent Harley Davidson dealership. 100’s of bikes will descend on the area and all Corvette owners are also invited to attend. The area will be busy, but we will have a separate Corvette parking area. The ZR1 will be on display.

Details are here:

Whitequay have demonstrated their commitment to Corvette owners and we now have two opportunities to show our support and get to know the teams at Whitequay better. They hope that you can make either or both events. There will be opportunity to demonstrate the Tech 2 and to talk to their technicians.

Fantastic Rich, I will be there and I hope so will lots of fellow Vette owners.

I'm pleased that GM have appointed a company in the south to work on our cars espesially on those still under warranty. Shows they are still investing in Corvette. They need our support!

Even better that the ZR1 will be on display. I wonder what a lightly used Z06 maybe worth in part chop?

Not interested.
Needed some work done on the Z06, took it to Reading on the 31 March, they did an analysis and said that they would let me know.
Guess what? I'm still waiting to hear from them.
Makes you wonder how hungry these dealers are for new business.

Tadek, I'm surprised they haven't got back to you. I had min in for service and warranty work and each time they were very good at getting back to me when promised. Either I've been very lucky or you've been very unlucky.

What an excellent day! Great reception given by all the staff at the dealership and better still had a warranty issue rectified on site with a part that was appearing difficult to get from the selling dealer. Wonder who that can be...?

Ten out of ten to all at Whitequay - let's hope you get the brand to sell as well as repair.

Rob saying: "So you reckon there's only 4 bolts holding that engine in?"
Barry said: "Yep, thats what I read on the forum"
Steve said: "Shall I get the spanners then?"
Gary said: "Good idea Steve, you keep this bloke next to me from GM occupied and I'll slide underneath and start un-doing a few bolts."

Agree. Top marks to all at Whitequay - a very passionate and efficient group.

They have confirmed that they will be at the CCCUK Nationals for both days in June offering CCCUK members free Tech 2 C5 and C6 diagnostic checks and advice, together with GM Vehicle Enquiries (showing any outstanding recalls etc).

Yes, full marks. I'm sure Vettes will sit better alongside Saab and Alfa than wedged in with mainstream GM econoboxes.
