Let's just say it's a bit of an acquired taste, and looks unbalanced compared with either a regular C6 or a Z06! Shame that it replaces the Z51 package so there's no option unless you go for base suspension or F55. Wonder what spec GM will bring to Europe for 2010?

Hi Martin. It's the "gills" and bling-badge on the front wing that puts me off... Still, I suppose they had to make it look worse than a Z06 for marketing reasons! (And to create an aftermarket for fitting real Z06 wings to the GS)

I can't make Sunday sadly, but I'll definitely be at the Fairmile on Tuesday. Hope the rain holds off for you on Sunday.

Now, it's funny you mention the gills. That part of the design reminds me of that awful Rover thing they cobbled together in the last year or two and stuck a stupid price tag on it.

I know there is a load going down on Sunday to Runnymede so should be good.

The side gills are from the old 60's Grand sport and the 96 C4 had the same on that Grand sport. I have to say it looks great! Will we see a 2010 model year official car sold here by then??

Car look s fine but those fender stripes are much too fussy when combined with the side gills. Should be easy enough to lose though!

I think this will sound the death knell for the Z06 sadly...

Most people will consider the LS3 more than powerful enough (and of course it is easily modded to produce more than an LS7 if need be) and now they can choose a convertible or targa option.

The wider front and rear wings were the reason the Z06 looked so much better than the base C6.

Despite wearing the same rubber as a Z06, the new wheels don't seem to fill the arches as well as a Z06 though?

Now what changes are they making to the ZR1 for 2010? Competition Grey wheels would be nice!
