Bank Holiday Weekend sees the return of the FIA GT and the traditional season opener at Silverstone with no fewer than 4 Corvettes due to be racing in the GT1 Class of the main event and all this for £10 including free parking!!!!

Details here:

http://response.pure360.com/interface/external_vie...

PK Carsport announced their new driver partnership and car livery today coincidentally.

Luc Alphand Aventures, SRT and DKR Engineering should all be fielding C6R Corvettes in the first race of the championship and the Corvettes traditionally run well on the wide open fast circuits like Silverstone so if you are looking for an excuse to avoid having to do the traditional Bank Holiday weekend things then take the opportunity to visit Silverstone, you won't be disappointed.

Robert Gammage said:
All Corvette owners in possession of entry tickets and bringing their Corvette to the Silverstone Supercar Featuring FIAGT meeting can park FOC in the infield in a designated Corvette parking area. To obtain your infield pass just email your postal address to robert.gammage@silverstone.co.uk with Corvette infield parking in subject field. I will them respond to each and every individual request.
Please email Robert for your infield parking passes.....but do it quick as he needs to post them out to you!

Hi Fran,

"Jake" is the Corvette Racing team mascot and if you go onto the Corvette Forum there is a whole posting dedicated to the history of Jake. Basically he evolved from a beer mat design at Le Mans in 2004, the eyes you will see represent the shape of the current C6 Corvette badge.

Hi Neil,

Nice Dutch Supercar Corvette smile

a couple of flame shots from Sunday.
