Service query C5

My Corvette first of all came up with L/H Rear Tyre flat don't drive over 89kmh which has happened before, and now it has come up with Brake monitor system requires service.

Is this something that I can do myself ? as I live in the Balearics and do not have a dealer on the island.

The other query is as has been posted on here before with regards to the steering /ignition lock, how do I know if my car is liable to have this problem ?
Or was the problem sorted before this year.

The car in question is a year 2000 model C5

Hi Neil

For the C5 you do not need any special tools, just a decent magnet (old speaker will do the job)

Give me a call tomorrow and I will talk you through the steps.
However on the C6 you do need a special tool.

I would have brought the car up to you but at the moment & for the next year its in the islands otherwise as you know it would be straight up to Surbiton.
