Cheers Gary, brilliant Journal entry, very well written!
Looking forward to reading more about your ragtop in due course.
For anyone else thinking of having a go, please don't be put off by Gary's excellent writing, I'm pretty handy with a sub-editing keyboard and can render most gibberish intelligible...
We would love to hear about some older versions too, so please register and log-in, it's very quick and simple.
You can start by making (non-rude) comments and go on to sharing your ownership experiences later.

Congrats to Gary for a TOP review, it really was very informative from a "real-world" users point of view, especially as he uses it as his daily commute too.
Personally whilst I haven't an issue with car magazine journo's reporting on their 30 minute test drive, I always feel better value for money reading an actual LIVE owner of a vehicle. Provided it isn't written through rose tinted spectacles of course.
I'm especially pleased that the front page of your excellent Auto-Journals features the Corvette in the preferred colour of choice. RED. Just a shame they didn't allow the removal of the Z06 roof!

Z06 roof can be removed you just need to send the car to Caravaggio in Canada for a week or two!Personally whilst I haven't an issue with car magazine journo's reporting on their 30 minute test drive, I always feel better value for money reading an actual LIVE owner of a vehicle. Yep - I sold the plate with the C5 and I've been told it's still around and being service by Ian Goss (the car, not the plate!).I remember you telling me about the trials and tribulations of modifying your C4, and advising me to leave well alone... I also remember seeing your C5 Z06 in completely unmodded form....but it looks like you've made a few slight mods since
