Who's up for a trip to Heston Blumenthal's "Little Chef" at Popham on the A303 near Basingstoke this Sunday for breakfast? Say meet at Fairmile at 9:30, stopping off at Fleet services on the M3 (GU51 1AA) at around 10:00-10:15, then final cruise to arrive at Popham for 10:30? Or just meet there anyway?

This is his new breakfast menu: http://www.littlechef.co.uk/downloads/Popham_Break...

Full address details: Little Chef, Popham, Basingstoke, Hampshire SO21 3SP

I know someone who wants to show off their new Vette and it isn't me....

Martin,

Count me in (although I'm a bit disturbed by the lack of fried bread on the menu frown )

I'll be heading there from Basingstoke, so probably easiest to meet you guys at the Chef unless anyone can think of a suitable merging point en route.

Gaz, do you think you will still make it with three wheels on your wagon?

Well, allegedly it'll be ready lunch-time today...so that gives me a few days as a buffer...

I'll bore everyone with the gory details on Sun (after an exciting Aussie GP, I hope).

Got four wheels again (hurrah!), so I'll be there - heading straight to Popham from Basingstoke. Even got a clever alarm clock so I won't get caught out by the clocks changing smile

Hi Twiglove, quite a few so far, it's only a short run and should be all over by 12:30 so it's an easy to get to get together. Just ramping up for the more serious stuff over the next few months!

That place is about 3 miles for my house. I would be there, but I will be in deepest Cornwall this weekend.

Have a great time.

Kev.

Many thanks to Martin for organising this little 'Breakfast Blat'....it was fun trying to keep up with him as he 'runs in' the Zed....especially in my old clunker of a C3!!

Fun in the Sun....British summertime is here!?

Simon, glad you enjoyed yourself along with the rest of the gang - it was a brill turnout and the breakie wasn't bad either!

And as for my cruising speed, I promise you I didn't once exceed 1800RPM in top......

Btw, get your personal info image sorted out - its CRAP!
