Exporting Corvette to France
Discussion
There's a big thread on this somewhere else which I summarise for you below,
In theory - possible.
In practice - forget it.
Why? Because you'd need local expert knowledge of (i) french language, and (ii) french beaurocracy. Polish your schoolboy French, Google "DRIRE" and all will become clear...

Thanks for the quick reply.
I don't intend on importing the car myself, I just wanted to help the potential Buyer by letting him know what's required. I'll leave the French speaking part and beaurocracy to him.
From what I can gather from other threads, I just need the Certificate of Conformity. Is this correct?
TIA

I think the problem you will have is a lack of a CoC for the C5 Z06.
As far as I know it was never euro safety tested so the car will have to go through French SVA which,by all accounts,is a nightmare.
It's possible but you would be luckier to get an Italian or a German( in fact anybody from anywhere but France).
