I am not a buyer Dave, just a little confused by this. Did you put the pics on the right advert?

A 52reg 1997 car, with US reversing lights and European fog lights. Is it an import and he managed to fool DVLA when he brought it in or something?

Whatever it is, it looks like it has been looked after. Very nice.

I see that the dvla did their usual fine job of registering an import - a 1997 car on a September 2002 plate!

Something's not right - a "B pack" car from 1997? IIRC the B pack wasn't introduced until 1999. If it is a 1997 it might be carrying lots of options but I don't think it can have a HUD (a primary part of B pack spec') unless someone's fitted it as an aftermarket item.

Maybe the year of the car is wrong but an error of 5 years would be a big one to make by accident! I want to say it's a Euro car with US rear license surround but I'm not sure there were any 1997 Euro models and it's got no tow hooks - so leads to a US import that some clown's cut about to fit the lovely rear fogs. Very odd.

In fairness, the ad says 'b-pack seats', presumably meaning it's got sports seats, rather than the full 'B Pack', which I'm sure was a Euro only option pack anyway, even though the component RPOs were available, of course, on US cars. As you say, it looks like a US-spec car that has been made to look like a Euro car with the fugly rear fogs.

Hey guys,sorry for the delay,didnt think this would get any replys.
It`s an AUTOMATIC if that helps.
Frank the owner has had it years,and is very clean,it had the 52 plate on it
when he bought it.
i have done servicing,and a few other jobs on this car.
Ican post more pics here,so maybe you guys can spot other things.
all i can say is its a real straight car.
The car should be at wheels day good friday,should anyone want to kick the tyres

This car has been sold,and yep it has gone to euro land.

Yeah,in these times if you want to move on you have to cut the price.
hope this helps others,there are buyers out there,just need to work
on the price
