I think a "transient" man is one of no fixed abode, also known as a "hobo".

Girls love drummers - apparently they like sweaty men with rhythm; one doesn't even need to be a famous drummer to enjoy reasonable success with the ladies!

Not sure. But it might be a Harry Metcalfe-ism.

He writes in EVO (p.90) of the limited production Pagani Zonda R that only 15 customer cars will be built, "plus one extra for the factory to keep for prosperity".



Mind you, with a selling price of £1.4m each he might be right to be wrong!
