I have finally found a weakness in the Z06 and in particular in its traction control system. It seems not to be able to cope with different types of snow/ice under the different wheels! I know this because I have just driven sideways down the Wandsworth Road - it took forever to get the car back into the wheeltracks once it was off-line (which in each case this morning occurred after a re-start on a cambered road after a red light - damn those red lights!).

I'd like to say it was fun. But no! Turned back and the car is safe and sound until someone slides into it...

My Landrover Rangerover Z06 was fine this morning,I think the rebody and the addition of a 4WD system has paid dividends,it has slowed it down somewhat in the quarter mile though.

I took my car out for a drive last night and found that the camber on most london roads isn't useful for doing 180s...
Had fun practicing my drifting skills around an industrial estate off the old kent road though. Until I got stuck and fell on mr a*se trying to push the car while my other half drove.

Kens bendy buses were struggling trying to get over London Bridge!

Given the strength of the Euro, we had sold all our snow to Germany by 11.30am and as a consequence, our roads are clear.
The snow, being European, is type approved and guaranteed for three years.
Other types of snow are available.

Surely, due to the £:Euro exchange rate, all that snow has come over here to take all our jobs? I know I can't work today because of it, I guess it's all come from Poland.

British snow for British roads! silly

C5 Is fine in the snow and traction control works really well just the low ground clearance make for a snow plough effect, its most enjoyable

According to the weather it is Russian / French snow that has come over taking advantage of the weak pound and covering most of the UK. The M5 corridor seems to have resisted this unwarranted invasion so far but really hoping it fecks orf by Friday as we are going to Rome for the weekend.....will try and take a couple of cases of "snow" with me just hope I don't get in trouble with customs.......

P.S. Still in shock that Pete went to the bar as wasn't aware he knew what one was or how they operated. Zzzz

It seems most unfair that M5s have their own corridor.
Maybe we should lobby for a CTS-V corridor too?
