What's the going rate over in the UK for a Ron Fellows Z06?
Discussion
I've put mine up for sale over here in Dubai and now there are 4 others came on the market just this past few days all for a similar price. Starting to wonder if I should send it back home and sell it there?
Anyone that knows the rough price for one of these beasties please let me know.
Its mint with 9000mls on it.
Thanks,
Craig.

If it's not a EU/UK spec car then you will not get the benefit of the Euro/Sterling rate that makes mainland Europe a strong market for these cars at the moment.
As such, I expect it would be worth the same as a US spec 07 model year, plus whatever someone is prepared to pay for having a white Z06. US spec cars seem to be sticking in the classifieds at the moment, suggestiong that they're incorrectly priced...
You also need to factor in sva costs.

If the SVA conversion is anything like mine (imported from Dubai) then all in it cost about £42k landed as there was no tax or duty to pay. But that's a standard Z06 not an RF edition, not sure what the mark up on those was new.
Tom
Circa £4-5,000 more than the equivalent spec. 'standard' car.Tom
The same is true of the 427 Edition cars. If you order the same spec. forgetting colours etc. the special editions are typically £4-5,000 more. If I recall correctly the list price on Ron Fellows when they were new was about £69,000 though I may be slightly out. James will no doubt correct me if I'm wrong.
These are the figures I wrote down at the time I bought mine:
In the UK RF complete with satnav and polished alloys (they all have both) was £69,197 on the road.
A base Z06 (2007 model year) was £62,695, but you had to add the following options to include the kit that came with an RF:
Satnav £1950
Polished alloys £1350
Full-width racing spoiler £549
Carbon fibre-effect trim £599
Body colo(u)red door handles - £139
Plus the RF came complete with a Corvette Performance Academy track day worth £550.
I started out wanting a yellow car which, on the above basis, would have cost £67,843 (including Tint Coat £700), plus the track day, so £68,393 to be completely comparable. (And I would have had to have waited.)
But I also got unique white paint and the great red/black interior which I really like, both not available otherwise (oh, and that RF signature and general limited edition status, in case that means anything – er… probably not over here).
So £69,197 for RF compared with £68,393 for a yellow spec’d as much as possible the same and with track day.
AND Parklane and 555T threw in some dealer goodies worth roughly £1500 (so I was told ;o) – ipod connection, Bluetooth, rear parking sensors, paint treatment.
BTW a well-known importer here quoted me £65,000 all in for a regular Z06 at the time. No bits, no European warranty, yaddah, yaddah…
I cancelled my order for a £115,000 997 Turbo, and got what I considered a BARGAIN.
(Reading this again I wonder whether actually the £62,695 included sat nav, but anyway the premium was pretty small, bearing in mind I got the car rightaway, and it's still white and with a lot of red inside, which is rather nice!)

You never told me you had a 997 Turbo on order!(Reading this again I wonder whether actually the £62,695 included sat nav, but anyway the premium was pretty small, bearing in mind I got the car rightaway, and it's still white and with a lot of red inside, which is rather nice!)
Z06 list price of £62,695 didn't include nav when you bought your car.
How's the drumming going? I STILL need to get back into it!

Also Ron Fellows edition will carry a premium over regular production as it was a numbered and limited production run, so it should be a bit more than a regular production 2007 C6 Z06.
I would disagree with that Nigel. It would be more saleable but I doubt you could suggest added value. For what it's worth I think the Ron Fellows looks terrific and sharp as anything.Gassing Station | Corvettes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
