Looks like another euro model only special edtion in cyber grey, It would seem a standard car with Comp grey wheels and lux pack for £52k!!!! Sorry but GM were selling 08my Z06's for only £55K why would anyone wan this car for that price? Unless i'm missing some great feature it has in the car?
It seems again GM has missed the boat on a really special edtion the Victory edtion last year did have leather wrap as standard but way too much money for standard C6.

The stealth of the Cyber, based on the C6 Coupé offers a unique combination of power, performance and styling. This starts with the all-aluminium small-block V8, a 6.2 litre engine capable of 437 PS with an incredible 575 Nm of torque. Drop the hammer in the manual 6-speed and you’ll rocket from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.3 seconds (4.4 seconds in the automatic).

Then there is the generous all-inclusive standard specification that includes:

Cyber Grey Metallic Paint
Luxury Package – includes six-way electrically adjustable/heated front seats (with memory), electrically adjustable steering wheel with audio controls, heads-up display with G-force meter, electro-chromatic rear view mirror with in-built compass, electro-chromatic driver’s door mirror, Bose® seven-speaker CD/DVD audio
Two tone leather seats
DVD-based navigation system with 6½ inch LCD colour touch screen
Five split-spoke aluminium Competition wheels in 'competition grey' paint (18-inch front, 19-inch rear)
Available only in Cyber Grey Metallic Paint, this Special Edition is an the iconic enduring symbol of Corvette’s winning spirit. At a starting price of £51,995

Agreed Rob why do GM think that calling what is basically a standard car a "special edition" by adding some stitching to the seats makes it worth that much more than a standard car? Does this mean you can't buy a C6 in Cyber Grey in Europe without the "special edition" package?

Having said all this given the current £ vs $ rate UK cars will soon be the cheapest when compared with the equivalent US or EEC models!

Are you referring to the 'Performance Edition' Rob? If so it also has bi-modal exhaust. There is no U.K. pricing for '09 model Corvettes as they would, at the current moment, simply be too expensive to contemplate bringing here. Just to make it clear, GM does not produce special edition Corvettes, Kroymans did.

Very nice, but that is a Z06.

If it wasn't for that pesky exchange rate, I'd be driving a Katech-powered Z06 looking exactly like that this year... frown

All I can say is I haven't got a price file for it, they're not on my ordering system and as previously stated there's not too much to get excited about as these Special Editions are not produced at factory rather by Kroymans in Rotterdam. When pricing for '09 models is announced it will be significantly more expensive due not only to the relative collapse of GBP against USD but also GBP against EUR. It's still cheaper to buy a Corvette in the U.K. than anywhere else in Europe and right now I'm pretty confident you couldn't import a new car from the U.S. cheaper either........
