Decided in October 2008 that I would get some new rims for the C6 Z06 as I didn't want the Chrome original rims getting ruined by the UK winter weather........anyway finally managed to get the new rims fitted today so thought I would share a few pics.

Gave new rims a coat of wheel wax prior to fitting

One of the tyre pressure sensors that needed to be moved to the new rims prior to fitting

After 2.5 hours all wheels fitted!

C6 Z06 with eight wheels!

After washing the car back home.....

Many thanks to Lee at Exhaust Tyres & Battery in Tewkesbury for fitting the new tyres only £40 and he did an excellent job. clap

Very nice Nige! I've always said the gayness of JSB needs to be offset by grey or black wheels... wink

Where did you get them from? OEM or repro?
I had to look everywhere to get a new front rim when one of mine went missing at my race shop. Ended up ordering a brand new OEM in the States and getting it brought over as part of a bigger consignment. Will re-fit the stock wheels and tyres for the rest of the winter now. R888s don't like the wet and cold!

roughrider, you need to get the photos hosted online, e.g. by Photobucket, then link to them with the correct [ img] and [ /img] tags (without the gaps).

Thanks David! I've got photo's on photobucket now, but forgive my computer illiteracy, do i copy and paste the link from photobucket? I have tried twice, and it just shows the link in script form on Pistonheads.

Looks awesome in black, Nigel, suits your machine much better than chrome anyway.
