Ive been told that there is a corvette hedder that i could use for my bbc with very little room for a set of hedders. These in question are block huggers but the collecters are around a 14" drop from the heads.
Anyone know which model and what year ??

I may be wrong but I think that its only small block 'block hugger' headers that are available. I have Hedman Big Block Corvette specific units on mine. Hookers are much the same except that the larger tube ones are a three piece design on driver side. Have you tried Lemons headers in the States - they manufacture pro street/race headers for bbc's in various tube sizes and for various chassis (not cheap) other alternative is Hayward & Scott Basildon who will make-up stainless units for you - again not very cheap - I know several people who have used them.

J.P. Exhausts in Macclesfield also have their own custom headers department depending on where you are based. Sounds like you'll have problems using anything off the shelf.

Thanks for the replys. I am on a tight budget now so getting someone to make them specialy for me is out of the question. Ive heard that the corvette uses a tight fit hedder so was hoping someone would know what model they were from. The last resort i can get some for a bbc in a model A but they are just over £300 so was hoping i could get something of the shelf.
