Just wondered what people have planned over the upcoming festive break,

For me it looks like the inlet manifold, and if I get Gixer's press, some motivation and some time the front suspension bushes and balljoints may get renewed...

Unsure whether or not I'll get any Vette shaped stocking fillers though! (but that would be greedy)

There are rumours he was standing on it when he fell.....! biggrin Hope it gets better quick Nige.

I'm getting out the Mobil 1 today; only because the k*ds are home for Xmas and I've not done the oil in their car for over a year.

C5 will be due a service early in 2009 - celebrating its 10th birthday!

Blimey - you give them Mobil 1!

Free screwdrivers with Halfrauds semi and fully synthetics...

Cliffy - you MUST have some jobs on - probably only something like a DIY LT5 rebore using just some tin foil and a kitchen whisk?

rofl
something like that, Fran.

No, I need to get out more, but, it's been bloody freezing. Or have I turned into a big girls blouse ?

Need to do the rear end and soon, hopefully when the temperature comes up a tad.

I have been commuting in our 1989 Merc 190 Auto for the last couple of weeks, but took the C6 Z06 to work today and managed to change gear without too much pain......so thanks for the kind offer but I will have to pass this time!

Contrary to popular belief the injury was not caused by me tripping over or falling off my wallet, w@nking too much or too much Christmas spirit. It was in fact 7.30 a.m. approx last Friday morning just setting off to walk the two dogs so a lead in each hand and stepped from the decking at the back of the house on to the drive. It was drizzling onto what i soon discovered was a frozen drive meaning I did a 180 degree turn and fall as I put my foot onto the drive and landed on @rse and right wrist. @rse being well padded no injuries but wrist seems to have been damaged an local doc took a look on Wednesday but doesn't think it is broken but have to keep it strapped for 2 weeks to see if it heals.

Only painful when I move wrist certain ways, so I don't know what I have done and doc didn't seem to know either.

Bet you just left it in 3rd!

My afternoon was delightful. Found the **** who did last oil change in k*ds car put the sump plug in without a copper washer so did it up nice and tight just to make sure there were no leaks..... grumpy

did it have the decency to leave the threads in the sump or did they come out too?
