I love the C6 Sat Nav because it has post code search on it which is great but I really miss no MP3 jack point when you go for the sat-nav option! Really weird Saab 9-3s have a great Sat Nav with mp3 but no post code apart from major cities (same as the BLS), At the moment I have a 08 CTS which has almost everything a large screen with direct dock for your Ipod and USB port but no post code option for the Sat-Nav and it would seem no Blue tooth option And TV! How many systems do GM make? And make some better than others? The lack of mp3 with the Sat Nav option on the C6 is a real shame, And as every model comes and goes it still the same.
Maybe other makes have the same problems, A few years ago Sat Nav would be great in a Corvette as the C5 never had it, But we always want more..

After a lot of research on the US Corvette forum, downloading a suitable selection of utilities, finding CD-RW drives that my laptop and the C6 Nav system both like, etc... I now just create an MP3 CD every few weeks for the car. At 128kbits I can get at least 10 albums on a disc. And keep a couple more in the glovebox for emergency boredom.

I don't own an MP3 player which may explain why I'm happy with this approach smile

You can buy a gizmo from eBay which plugs into the XM receiver and allows you to plug in your iPod or iPhone and use the steering wheel navigation buttons to change tracks etc.

Euro cars do not have an XM radio though, or the wiring loom to plug the module in to.
Auto Audio in London have come up with a couple of hard wired solutions for ipods, but they will not let you use the steering wheel controls.

Rob, try typing a post code, including the space, into the 'City' box when you go to enter an address. I think you'll find it works fine. Don't you mean a 2009 CTS??
