I received my "Corvette Assistance" card from GM (well, our friends in the Netherlands) in the post today, a little over 8 months after buying my car! Is this a record? (Pleased to see it's red to match my paintwork smile )

But does it have the correct number on it?

In the early C6 days Kroymans were quite efficient in sending cards out, but the number was wrong, so we had to issue 'temporary' (i.e. permanent!) cards from the dealers.
I believe that the number has since changed again to a dedicated UK line, but you'd have to check with the dealers that aren't allowed to post on here to confirm it.

I just use the handy number stickered to one of my windows!

Was bloody useful in September when I managed like a prat to run out of fuel on the autobahn.
Called the Europe number who asked a few questions then sent a guy out with a fuel can free of charge. Well apart from the fuel of course.

Very impressive and another reason to buy a Euro/UK Vette.

What are they then? I think I remember them many years gone by.

They're like huge CD-Rs. They could have made them smaller but our eyesight was poor from making lace by gaslight.
