Hi fellas,

I've been lusting over getting a C6 Z06 for some time now. I 've taken the first step to getting one by putting my car up for sale. In the current climate I'm expecting a bit of a wait but at least I've made a start.

I was originally looking to import one. However, what with the current exchange rate I suppose the savings wouldn't be as attractive when considering no warranty etc. So I may have to wait a little longer to put some more money aside to purchase a Euro Spec car.

Does anyone on here know what I could expect to pay for an import at the moment??

It's hard to see how you could hope to save with the Dollar and Euro making the pound look like a stable mate of the Peso at the moment.

.....but everything will be returning to normal now as the man with the black caterpillar eyebrows fixed the economy today in one easy stroke.........(buy pesos is my advice).

lol, great reply. I thought as much. oh well i will just have to hold out a little longer to put the money aside for a Euro car. That said, i need to find a buyer for mine first.

I was wondering where the £30k odd ones all went.
Looks like cornering the market to protect their value, or gain a monopoly. Either way, nicely speculative and spiv'y smile

To answer your question with no bias, the UK is currently the cheapest place to buy a Z06 (at least for use over here).
So the simple answer is to look for the best car you can afford here. It certainly won't be cheaper in Europe!

Lovely Noble you have there, good luck selling it. Shame most dealers are probably not looking to take any stock at the moment...

Thanks for the reply mate and thanks for the comment on my car. It's a little highly priced at the mo, but starting high to go low as they say!!

Hopefully i will be in your gang a quarter of the way through next year.

Er, Le Man already admitted it was Bauer Millett a few posts up!
Dunno if he was talking about C6s only, but maybe worth talking to them Sam. No luck in Poland then?

I there right now just giving them a chase up but the weather is minus five and snow on the ground I think once the spring come it will be snapped up just looking at options as mot and tax runs out in march so might need to run home and just do the necessary to keep it legal,
