I'm not convinced about it in Black. It's not dramatic enough.

Thanks for sharing those! Your friend takes a good photo too.
Did he share any driving impressions?

Excellent! So what did he say about that then?

Hope they sort the colour matching out on production models though... frown

Er, that's because it is! But at least it has a certain modern/retro charm unlike the Challenger's interior.
But it was the ghastly colour mismatch between the nosecone and the rest of the bodywork I was referring to.
Not that I would order red anyway...

Oh Chris, you do have a lot to learn about Corvettes.
(1) They are not cheap but do offer extremely value.
(2) That extends to servicing and parts
(3) The price of a new 197mph Z06 is about the same as the first years depreciation on a Gallardo
(4) Driving one doesn't make you feel like a drug dealer, lottery winner, pimp, footballer, or economic migrant.
(5) Your driving education isn't quite complete until you've driven one.
Don't worry though. We can help you to fill in the gaps in your knowledge, and as a Yorkshireman, you'll really like the test drive because it's free.

Actually I always find the interiors of Murcielago's particularly upsetting. After £250,000 I'd expect to see something a little less Halfords than the bottom end Kenwood stereo staring back at me...... Give me a Countach any day!
