How much would it cost on top of the basic car to put together something like that?

Well, you need a load of stickers (cost unknown), a set of black wheels (about £2000) a rear wing (probably another £2000), set of side skirts and other body bits including rear diffuser (£5000) so my estimate would be £10,000 on top of your C6.

Which I guess is actually not a lot for what is undoubtedly a great road legal, road useable replica.

I love it, but I would say that.........

I had a budget of £5,000 when I did my C5. It didn't go very far and I did sod all by comparison with some replicas I've seen, but I did replace the lights and bonnet. The wing was custom made and not cheap. As for the decals...............yikes



The old girl will be up for sale next weekend. Time to move on. I wish people wouldn't post photos of C6R replicas..........

Well, I did buy a Chrysler 300C this afternoon, but that's not connected to any Vette replacement. Might be tough selling it at the moment - not too bothered either way.
