Z06 Buyers Tips
Discussion
Looking for a bit of guidance, I am off to view a gentlemans pair (thats right pair, as in he has 2!) 2007 Z06's one has 1,600km on the clock and the other has 17,000km....as such there is no concern over the milage, just wondering if anyone had some tips of what to look for/check for on them. Ill be checking all the usual stuff on it as you would with any car, panel gaps being right etc and other signs of crash damage...but i wanted to check with you lot that there are no well known faults to check for first.
At first I thought he was a salesman but when I asked him he just said he was a very rich man...Being in Dubai and him being a local I have no reason to doubt that he's just selling them because they are a year old as out here the elite change cars at least every year...but id like some reassurance there isnt a flaw to look for on them that I have not been able to discover on other corvette forums.
thanks for any help you can give!

I'd be looking for undue engine clatter, bearing in mind it's not the quietest engine in the world, the other thing to look out for is a notching diff. When you turn a tight corner at low speed you might find that the rear wheels bind up, in which case the diff needs its oil changing and in particularly bad cases could require a new diff. Other than that, I can't think of much that's obvious.....
