ZR-1 and Cadillac CTS-V on Top Gear next week.
Discussion
Very unlikely as he appears to have just blown £100k on a CLK Black.
Best episode ever.
Ironically, the non-ironic US Immigration service did us all a favour by making the boys behave themselves (slightly) hence making actually a far more entertaining car programme than has been the norm recently.
Now, I just need to wait patiently while the US credit crunch brings ZR1s down to $80k and the £ goes back up to $2... (yes, I know; I'll have quite a wait. )

It was everything TG should be every week - the cocking about subliminal to the fact it's a programme about cars. I also have to concede that in ZR1 form, the C6 finally looks good.
However, I'll take a CTS-V in black but only because you can't squash kids in a ZR1 - oh and I don't have enough mony for either.
I think the surprise was that they even liked the Challenger and seem to have suddenly "got" what American cars are about. Roll on the TG lap.

All three are awesome motors, their journey brought back memories as they followed the same route I took in a T-Bird a few years ago, also ending up at Bonneville Speed Week. Stood with Alex Xydias, Peter Stevens and Nick Stephenson watching their MG ZR Estate crack 225mph. Watching isn't as fun as taking part though, and it's bloody hot there! Well impressed with the CTSv and ZR1 standing mile times, 176mph and 163mph, not too shabby at all on tarmac, let alone on salt! 150mph for the Challenger was pretty good too.
You can watch it now, here:

I'm trying not to laugh at Ask Elvis' last reply (who is this man anyway? And is he on an island with Shergar as well?)
Anyway, agree a bit witht eh star in a car bit - Will Young - I'm really into cars...then (sorry for RR ovwners) - I've got a supercharged Range Rover Sport. Sounds like celebrity set choice rather than total petrolhead choice to me?
