Anybody on here bought the ZR-1 that was for sale with Bauer-millett? I saw it at the nationals this year and it looked really clean. Nice car with loads of power!!!

I've told the gentleman in question that if he doesn't win a trophy with it at the next nationals then I'm going to be severely disappointed with him. He lives 15 minutes away from Huntingdon strangely enough. I'm not sure that he's a PHer......

It was a two owner car. The first was a Norwegian Diplomat, the second a Physics Professor. Thoroughly nice chap. It had been polished so regularly it didn't have any orange peel on it. If I didn't have too many toys of my own I would have kept it. A future classic without a doubt.

This was one quality car with an equally quality owner. The owner, Paul, invited me down to his place in the New Forest where he had nearly every servicable part and tool for the 90 ZR-1. Paul had addressed any issue the early ZR-1 had, including chain tensioner rattle which benefited from a new replacement tensioner kit, and the dreaded air bag issue which had a new replacement brain. From memory the car was a low mileage gem, and after spending the afternoon at the ex-owner and his wifes abode I came away with a boot load of spares and a wealth of knowledge. I look forward to seeing the car out and about.

Yes Paul was a really nice bloke and it was a much loved car. The guys in the states also ask after him when I'm out there.
